Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will have direct access daily to get books from the classroom on the Biographies and SEL topics, and this will make a difference in daily learning. They will not have to wait weekly to check out books in the library. We are requesting titles such as Who Was...?, Children’s Biography
Crabtree Black History Biographies, and The Story of Strong Black Women: Story of Inspiring Biographies for Young Readers)5 Book Box Set:
Students will become more aware of research and reading with a book in hand. They will be able to sit and read about a new person they have never met in history.
My students are special because they are growing readers seeking easily accessible books in the bookcase in the classroom.
