it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students for their resilience and curiosity; they bring a unique energy to our classroom that inspires creativity and growth. The resources I am requesting— yoga ball chairs, sound bowls, oil diffusers, and feminine hygiene products—will significantly enhance my student's learning experience and well-being. The yoga ball chairs will allow flexible seating by allowing movement and will provide a comfortable and supportive space for mindfulness practices, helping them focus better during lessons. The sound bowls will promote a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, creating a sense of calm, and encouraging emotional regulation, while the oil diffuser will create a soothing atmosphere that enhances concentration. Feminine hygiene products are essential for fostering a sense of dignity and comfort, ensuring all students feel supported and included. My goal for this project is to create a nurturing environment where students can develop coping skills, improve their mental health, and thrive academically. What makes my students special is their ability to uplift one another regardless of circumstance, and I want to cultivate that strength by providing them with the tools they need to succeed both personally and academically.
