My Project
As the new librarian, I intend to create and hold space for the students. I am incorporating yoga into the program to start their exploration of their emotional state and how it impacts their physical body. By creating an environment that offers them a chance to feel safe and supported, the intent is to introduce strategies for students to employ when their world gets to be too much. Their ability to check in and gauge their emotions will create a personal tool kit for each child to engage and practice.
