My Project
Students have had to deal with so much change through the pandemic. They have had to overcome fears and experiences we never could have imagined for them. They lost important years of socializing during their developmental years. I have created a safe environment for my students! I have worked hard on creating a calm space for learning for them to be able to express theirselves in a healthy manner. By using buddha boards, sand pictures for calmness, and mindful cards they have learned to calm their fears and strong feeling. These new items will help them regulate their emotions in new ways. Some want to journal or draw their feelings. Some like to use puzzle or figets. I have been trying to find ways to help all of my students. We will continue to grow a healthy growth mindset and continue to use the Power of Yet!
