My students need 5 Chromebooks to take them to the next level of learning. My third graders are in the generation of technology and having it right at their fingertips will help them succeed in the future. They are eager to learn but need the correct tools to get them to the next level. My students need to learn how to research topics and write reports on computers. With technology today going as fast as it is, they are already behind. Your donations will help underprivileged children have a chance to use technology they never have before. We do a very large research project that takes the whole second semester. We are integrating language arts, research, and science. Each class has itʻs own biome to research, then the students have their own habitat, animal, and plant to research in the given biome. In my class we are the Tropical Rain Forest. As of right now we use library books, the resources I find for them, and the limited time we can go to the school computer lab. If my students could have their own Chromebooks in their class to do research on, I know our research project could go to a whole new level. And to think of all of the future projects we could do with them. Each donation, regardless of the dollar amount, is an acknowledgment that you believe in these kids and their future.
