My Project
I am requesting eye hand coordination and sports training equipment that we can use during class and for students to use on their own to alleviate stress. I have about 120 students per semester that are currently needing equipment to help build mental and physical strength. The students desperately want to participate in sports activities, but are sometimes denied due to a lack of equipment. The training tools that I am requesting, including sand bags, resistance bands, abdominal wheels, yoga mats, and more, will help in the building of the athletic program. A lot of the students have wanted to work on their strength and the ability to achieve individual and team goals. These types of training equipment will help to perform different type of exercises. With our current lack of equipment, students resort to opting out of class activities due to the lack of challenging equipment.
The extra movement provided from this equipment will encourage my students to continue to exercise with regularity and regain focus for rigorous academic tasks as well.
With your support, we aim to acquire a variety of physical therapy items, including resistance bands, sand bags, reaction balls. These items are designed to make Physical Education feel like play, encouraging students to participate eagerly while working toward their physical goals.
