My Project

I work with an incredible group of teens who are thoughtful, curious, and full of potential—but many of them are carrying invisible burdens. From anxiety and stress to challenges in relationships and self-image, my students are navigating a complex world with limited tools. I want to change that.

This project brings together powerful, age-appropriate self-help books that address topics like trauma, anxiety, emotional intelligence, and positive habit-building.

Titles like The Body Keeps the Score, It Didn’t Start with You, and Stuff That Sucks offer trauma-informed perspectives that help students understand their inner world. Others, like Atomic Habits and The 5 Love Languages for Teens, give practical strategies for growth and connection.

These books will not just sit on a shelf — they will become part of class discussions, quiet reflection time, and student-led mental wellness projects. My goal is to foster a safe space where students feel seen, heard, and empowered to take care of their mental health.
