Million Dollar Musical Sounds!

Help me give my students a working instrument setup that will help them be successful! Cheap, poorly constructed instruments sound bad and ultimately lead to failure when students are willing to learn. Amazing sounds coming!

My Students

Every student is important and adds value to our school family. When my own children came into the world I was amazed how the capacity to experience joy in my life expanded. Just like my own kids, each of my students adds a depth and connection within our school that benefits both teachers and students. Those in my programs have unique goals and abilities in music. They play strings, wind, keyboard or percussion instruments. The learn to create in settings where they have to work with each other and overcome together while being individually accountable for their contributions. Music teaches and prepares for so many life parallels. During the pandemic we have gone through digital only phases where our ensembles have completely disbanded. The sporting events we contributed to weren't the same, the learning and bonding wasn't the same, the individual connections and friendships and achievements all changed, even during mask requirement times. This year I have seen my students push past these challenges in many ways and they are successfully rebuilding our programs and establishing cultures that are healthy mentally for themselves and each other and I have been so pleased with them!

My Project

Students and families are suffering financially and in their mental health.

These saxophone mouthpieces and supplies seem like a niche item at first, but you can monumental improve a students sound and performance by this one upgrade rather than buying a new instrument.

They make a world of difference.

Better sounds and frequent musical success improves mental health, self image, motivation, classroom dynamics and more. One little thing like this can be the impetus for something major. This will help both their budgets and their overall learning no doubt! This band is our audition group of 25 kids but represents our school student body, image at major sporting events, televised events, community service events, district events and more. When you help a group like this the whole community improves.
