Our school is a charter that focuses on bringing the best opportunities for performing arts and technology to kids. My class has 24 digital pianos with headphone sets. It has been a thriving (free) program for 6 years since the school opened. I rotate through the room as the students progress at an individual pace. We have solo recitals and also put together frequent piano duets and quartets for shows. We love performing in the community at festivals, holiday events and senior centers. The kids take what they learn and make music with their families and churches. It is a great benefit to all. Class sizes are large which makes helping them all as much as they need a challenge. New amazing apps can take over some of the work now so students don't have to wait on me.
