This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a new teacher looking for more ways to support my students as much as I can in order to help build a love for lifetime learning. My students are very eager to learn and are always looking for more creative and fun ways to do so. They enjoy reading and writing and I want to be sure they always have the tools necessary to be successful. As we approach the new new school year, I want to provide an increase in learning possibilities and variations.
Currently, we are in a Title I setting.
Regardless of where scholars attend school, the main objective always will be learning. I am hopeful that we will be blessed with the donations needed for our classroom necessities. Although parents and I provide as much as we can, it is very important to provide even more to the scholars. We would love for our learning environment to continue with even more better improvement as much as possible. I look forward to watching my scholars soar and grow more knowledgeable than ever before!
My Project
In our class, we have no access to computers with CD-ROMs. The students enjoy playing the learning games we have in class. However, our desktops were taken out of the room which limits our ability to play the CD-ROM games that I have purchased for my learners. I don't want the lack of access to CD-ROMs to limit whether they can continue learning in more creative and fun ways.
Having this laptop will give my students the ability to be more engaged and have more enjoyable ways to learn with technology.
I have witnessed several student grow in literacy and math with the support of my Lakeshore Learning games and I would love to see more of them blossom. With your support, this will certainly be possible. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my wish for my class.
