Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love math but, sometimes some concepts, such as fractions, can be difficult to understand. Students need hand held tools to help them visually & physically see what a fraction really is- numbers less than one are a tough concept for 8 year-olds!

My students need hand held manipulatives to help them understand difficult concepts such as fractions, time, and multiplication!

These tools will be used as centers and students will have a chance to practice foundational skills that they will need in all future mathematics classes from now until their college courses! They will enjoy have fun while learning difficult concepts!
