Marching band instills creativity, musicianship, and unity for our students. Our marching band is made up of students in grades 8-12. Growing stronger each day, they instill their work ethic by practicing their music and learning their coordinates for their marching show, as well as mentorship and comradery among students.
The marching band consists students of a rural Texas community.
They enjoy performing exciting shows for their school and their community. They take pride in their accomplishments while looking forward to this fall marching season to present a challenging and entertaining half-time performance.
My Project
The 2019 Marching Band Season is a state advancement year for our school division. The equipment for this project will enable our students to perform at their best while performing their competition marching show performance and during half-time performances. Smaller will have the capability of being mic'd in order to balance the band's sound. Soloists will easily be heard by the fans in the stands as well as by the competition judges. The equipment will provide the necessary means to implement the use of piano keyboards as part of the performances.
Furthermore, the equipment for this project will also be used for many years to come allowing for future bands to benefit.
