Mighty Manipulatives for Mathematics Mastery

My Project

Students in first grade are learning key mathematical concepts such as counting, adding, subtraction, comparing numbers and more. An essential concept they are currently focusing on is place value and regrouping. Place value is the key foundation of our entire numbers system and is an extremely pivotal skill needed for building number sense and for successfully learning other, more complex math concepts in future grades. It is so important that my students can master these foundational math skills, and tools like the Place Value Write and Wipe Boards, Magnetic Number of the Day Chart, and Place Value Grab and Play Game will be used to master understanding in a fun way.
