My Students
Each year, I am blessed with an amazing group of children, whom I learn from daily. They come in each morning with so much to share with the class and me. They are full of life and want to share that with everyone around them. At the beginning of the school year, my students enter second grade as shy first graders. However, when they leave for third grade they are strong, confident, and determined. Being part of this process is what makes teaching so beautiful.
My Project
I am asking for a midyear library refresh. Some of our series books collections are missing some of the books. My students love reading series books. However, they have brought it to my attention that we are missing some books. Since they are so eager to read them, I thought I could create a project asking for the books they requested. We do a lot of character development work. Having many books to read helps us to understand a character thoroughly. With your help, we can learn more and more about our characters. We will also have more evidence to back up our opinions about characters in our upcoming unit.
