Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from all backgrounds and cultures. Even though my district is very supportive of the needs of the students and teachers, more than half of the students come from low-income families who may not always have the means of getting the supplies they need to succeed in school.
All of these materials that I am requesting will help students throughout their day.
My students are creative and creates some amazing work that I would love to post on cardstock and display them around my room. The laminate machine and pouches will help me protect the student work while putting these excellent works on display. The sheet proctors are also there to protect student work. The stickers can help encourage my students to stay curious about science. The cardstock and tape are needed for upcoming projects such as creating roller coasters and building circuits.
I am hoping that my supplies will help the students focus and have an organized and encouraging environment. It is these small things that make a big difference!
