This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are so excited to start creating their own beats in the music room. Adding midi keyboards to our classroom will create opportunities for students to exercise all of the knowledge and skills that they have accumulated throughout the course of the school year.
This school year, our fourth and fifth graders spent the first semester focused on piano and keyboard, and the second semester focused on drumming.
I have also introduced the basics of producing using Band Lab, which students are super excited about!
My vision for our cumulative final project is to create our own beats and songs in Band Lab using all of the skills that students have learned over the course of the school year, and the final missing piece is this midi keyboard. Please help empower our students by supporting them in creating their own original music.
