My Project
What I love most about my students is their determination to overcome challenges and keep pushing forward. Despite any learning difficulties they may face, they always put their best foot forward and work hard to meet their goals. They are resilient, curious, and truly inspiring learners.
As we get ready to open a new learning center designed specifically for students with diverse needs, I’m seeking your support in creating a space that is not only functional and organized but also warm, welcoming, and engaging.
The resources I’m requesting will help set up an environment that meets a wide range of learning styles and accommodations while also making the space feel fun and supportive.
Here’s how your donation will help:
A rolling cart to keep materials organized and the space clutter-free. A rod for visual calendars and a digital alarm clock to support our visual learners and provide structure to their day. Colorful folders to help students meet their accommodations, calculators, and headphones to support individualized learning needs during instruction. Basic classroom materials like Expo markers/pens to enhance participation and bring lessons to life.
In our learning center, I also run a student store where learners can earn incentives such as sensory-friendly items—like stress balls, lip gloss, and fidget spinners—to keep them motivated throughout the day. These items play a vital role in helping students stay focused and calm while navigating academic and social challenges.
Each item requested will be used with care and purpose to support my students’ academic, emotional, and sensory needs. Together, we can build a space that feels safe, empowering, and exciting—a place where all students, regardless of their learning profile, can thrive.
