For the Advisory girls we were able to make pouches that they can use during advisory to freshen up. It is set up in a discreet area where students can quietly grab what they need—whether it's deodorant, wipes, feminine hygiene products, or tissues. One meaningful moment that stood out was when a student who is usually very reserved asked to use the station and later shared how much more comfortable and confident they felt for the rest of the day. That moment reinforced just how impactful this resource truly is.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the hygiene station, their reactions were a mix of excitement and reluctance. Many were surprised that these items were available to them in the classroom and appreciated having access without needing to ask or feel embarrassed. Almost immediately, I noticed an increase in student comfort, focus, and overall engagement in class. This station has already begun to build a stronger sense of trust and care within our classroom community.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to continue building on this by incorporating short lessons and discussions around personal hygiene, self-care, and overall wellness. Students will also help maintain and organize the station, encouraging responsibility and ownership. Additionally, we hope to expand this into a broader \"student care corner\" that includes wellness and mindfulness supports.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has made a direct impact on my students' confidence, well-being, and ability to focus on learning. Many of our students learn best through visuals and hands-on activities, so seeing colorful, interactive tools immediately sparked curiosity and engagement. Several students asked when we could start using the games, and others commented that reading felt more \"fun\" and less overwhelming. That excitement has continued as the materials have become part of our daily routine.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue building foundational reading skills by using the materials to strengthen sight word recognition, fluency, and comprehension in small groups. We are also beginning to connect these reading skills to functional and real-world texts to support independence and confidence across content areas.
