My Project
Recently a student asked me if I would teach them how to play rugby. My first thought was, how can I teach this in the Middle School, as I believe this is a super aggressive sport.
Upon further research, I found that rugby can be taught using flags or two hand touch or tag.
I also discovered that students who are not proficient in a football lesson tend to do well when introduced to rugby.
Rugby would help break my students out of the traditional sports and experience a new way to have a cardiovascular game that includes kicking/punting and passing/pitching.
