My Project
I handle middle school RSP students that need reading and math support. Most of them struggle in that area since elementary. Some has emotional disturbance. Most of them came from a dynamic family set up.
Most of them get dysregulated in general education class, and my classroom is their safe space.
As a middle school student, their body changes, as do their emotions. They are still navigating how they can manage their emotions and have self-regulation. I want to improve my classroom by having a nice calm corner where they can regulate and be ready to be back in class and learn.
I hope this platform can help me fulfill my dream classroom.
