This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students at Mater Academy East deserve the world! I want to be able to give them items to work towards that they enjoy (the fidget toys). I also want to put my best foot forward as a teacher and give them the necessities they will need to be successful, especially for my 6th graders just coming into middle school. I want to be able to teach them the organizational skills they will need in order to be successful (planner and pencil pouches). Lastly, all of my students love to work for snacks and candy, so why not add a sweet or salty treat in the mix to work towards. I am focused on giving my students the necessities they need right in the beginning.
