Middle School Multimedia - Stop Motion Animation Project

My Project
Our Multimedia class is launching a Donors Choose campaign to equip our 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students with the tools needed for stop-motion animation projects. Using LEGO sets, play dough, puzzles, green screens, and school iPads, students will film dynamic scenes and sculpt custom characters.
Students will edit their stop motion content using WeVideo, exploring digital effects and layering backgrounds to create engaging animations and stories.
Projects might include creating short films about their favorite books, illustrating historical events, or developing their own imaginative stories.
Our class will use this equipment to engage students, foster creative thinking, and develop skills in technical proficiency, collaboration, and problem-solving.
