This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle schoolers are constantly working in groups and partnerships. Flexible seating is something they all work for.

This year I brought in beat bags and floor seats and both were a big hit.

They loved the bean bags so much, that they’ve flattened and need additional filling. The stools that I’ve requested are sturdy and will last throughout the years. It’s a tough task to find seating alternatives that fit my middle schoolers’ growing bodies. The floor seats were a hit this year and additional seats would be great.
