Middle School Math Necessities

Help me give my students supplies needed to be successful in a modern math 7 classroom.

My Project

Students need to have access to calculators to be successful. The seventh-grade math curriculum is fast-paced and unlike in the past, we are not pretending students will not and do not have access to calculators, as well as computers in their futures. We do however need to ensure that students understand how to use them and what they are calculating with them. Seventh graders have the opportunity to study percentages, taxes, interest rates, ratios and proportions, expressions and equations, statistics and probability, etc. In the past, we have been able to share calculators with our neighbors or table partners, however, I want to ensure each student understands each question. Students use laptops each day to complete their daily assignments to prevent students from having to carry heavy textbooks to and from school each day. In order for these students to be successful, we need to have chargers so they are able to use their device each day. Your donation will not only help the 120 students I have this year but will help ensure students are receiving a quality education for years to come.
