Middle School Book Nook

Help me give my students their own reading library - complete with a bright rug, comfy seats, and positive reading posters.

My Project

Help me complete an amazing project for my 7th and 8th grade students. When they enter middle school they no longer get to visit the library and this new reading space will continue to encourage them to read for fun!

A themed reading rug and colorful pillows for sitting will make the space feel more cozy and inviting.

Plus no reading space is complete without encouraging posters - they’re still young teens learning to read they need the inspiration! All of these items are crucial elements to bring this book nook to life! My students will be able to read books of their age level while having a comfortable place to sit and truly enjoy their reading adventure.

They volunteered to change a cubby closet into a book room because they desired a safe space of their own. My students are excited to be involved in the project and the carpet sweeper will give them the responsibility to keep the space clean especially since they worked so hard to help the process begin. And hopefully with your support and generosity you can help us finish it! I want to give them a safe, colorful and clean space to expand their minds - they deserve something wonderful!
