Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from all backgrounds and cultures. More than half of the students come from low-income families who may not always have the means of getting the supplies they need to succeed in school.

All of these materials that I am requesting will help students throughout their day.

As my students juggle with their textbooks and other supplies, the amount of materials they have to carry drastically increases. The paper tray will help the students be organized and carry less paper as they trek through the school. The laminator and the white paper will be used as decoration in the classroom and allows me to display amazing student work. The broom and doorstop will help my classroom stay clean and keep out the critters as the weather gets warmer. Also, as the weather gets hotter, the water will help the students, as many students come to my class after gym classes. I am hoping that my supplies will help the students relax and have a change of scenery that can refresh their minds. It is these small things that make a big difference!
