Mid-Year Resupply for Materials

Help me give my students basic materials. It's mid-year and they have lost or used up most of the school supplies from the beginning of the year.

My Students

Our school is a Title I School in a rural community. The school is 100% free or reduced-price lunch with a free after-school program to help with homework and provide extra time for computer use as most do not have the Internet at home. Our class serves students with a range of disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, emotional disturbance, autism spectrum disorder and specific learning disabilities The students are hard-working. Most of the students in my third-grade class read below grade level by two years. The class is made up of about ninety percent African American. All of the students receive backpack buddies for weekend eating. Despite all this, they continue to make growth in their education. Most will increase reading levels by 2 to 5 levels throughout the year.

My Project

My student's parents have little extra income to purchase school supplies. Here we are mid-year and the supplies are running out or just plain used up. We could really use a restocking!

My students need supplies to make it to the end of the year.

Our parents work hard giving their child everything they need. However, income is tight for them. We are in need of basic supplies to get through this year. Nubby pencil and broken crayons are in good supply but are quite difficult for small hands to use.

Please help me help my students by donating!
