Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Ensuring students have all the materials they need happens all year. Help me give my students materials that will help continue to personalize their literacy instruction. Copy paper will help me continue to print student copies of the learning materials. The lamination sheets will allow the materials to be more durable and last longer.

My work as a literacy interventionist is most effective when instruction is targeted and personalized.

This means students need copies of their own materials, which requires a large amount of paper-- more than what is provided by my school site annually.

I am working on creating individual magnetic and velcro letter mats for my literacy intervention groups. The velcro and magent sheets will be used to create letter tiles that can move around on a white board and attach to folders for an interactive literacy experience.
