Imagine standing in a long line to use the only microwave not broken. My students love to do hands-on work! In our culinary classroom, they get excited about learning new techniques and recipes. We have all grades and all levels in our FACS classes including students just learning English and with severe disabilities.
The microwaves will help us with our preparatory work for some of our projects.
The microwaves will be used for melting and heating certain items as well as used in the preparation of some of our recipes. Currently, the resources we have are older and do not always function the way they should. With these new resources, I can ensure my students will be up to date with the curriculum.
