My students are hard workers who just need a few basic things to succeed. My students are bright and want to achieve greatness. They are creative and eager to learn. My scholars are excited to be in school and I am excited to be with them. I believe in them and I believe with the right resources they can achieve greatness.

Our school is a Title I school. Living in a low socio economic school community our student population is predominantly temporary housing or in shelters. We provide 100% free breakfast and lunch to our students. 10% of our students are experiencing homelessness.

My students are eager to learn and are excited when they can experience new ways of learning.

My Project

My students need a Microsoft Surface Pro to explore the world around them, produce projects and have access to current events in order to be a successful 21st century scholar.

It's not that we use technology, we live technology.

I want my students to be able to write about happy things and make beautiful stories. The Microsoft Surface Pro will be used by the students as they create stories. They will learn science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). They will use the Microsoft Surface Pro to record photographs and create digital stories to share in class. Having technology is a 21st century skill that enables students to be creators.

Th Microsoft Pro will be used to also differentiate classroom instruction based on 2nd grade standards as well as to help my students with IEP's and my ELL students.
