Help me give my students video capable microscopes so that I can teach without having to have my head down in a microscope and enhance their capabilities to share ideas and interpretation of what they see.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Sujovolsky's classroom raised $774

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students as well as the other Biology teachers that will use this video-capable Microscope are curious, enterprising and love the idea of merging technology with their learning.
My students are mostly from modest homes, and would not have access to tools like this at home or elsewhere.
My students try hard to find motivation to learn, but more so, they crave a modern twist that allows them to integrate their own devices.
In our first experiment this year, students used their phones to take pictures of the beans they had growing in their experiment. They decided on their own to obtain documentation of their observations.
My Project
These Video capable Microscopes are a multifaceted positive for the school, teachers and more importantly, the students. Students really enjoy when the material is presented in a different and maybe more modern fashion.
These Microscopes will allow the students have a larger visual field, share ideas about the same image, and allow the teacher the freedom to walk around the room, or share events like single-cell organisms in pond water for all to see simultaneously.
The images saved from the microscope can be used in lesson plans, PowerPoint, notes, etc...to be shared via Google classroom, email, or student design websites for presentation purposes.
