My students need 4 microscopes to learn about the microscopic world.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Heinrichs's classroom raised $1,384
This project is fully funded
My Students
These microscopes will help the students gain first hand knowledge about one celled life and about the importance of good hygiene.
My students are 7th graders who live in a high poverty area of town.
Many live in single parent families and most are on the free/reduced lunch program. These kids come to school with a desire to learn. They see the importance of a good education to help them be successful. They have made it their goal to graduate from high school and attend college to earn degrees that will give them opportunities for great jobs.
My Project
These microscopes will bring a whole new world to them. We will go to a local lagoon and bring back water samples. We will make a "pond" in the classroom where they can actually see the single cell life swimming around. They will see the variety of life that exists wherever a body of water can be found. This project opens them to other learning such as hygiene and water purification.
Our school is in need of good science equipment that will allow us to give our students the best education to prepare them for high school.
Your donation is going to be part of their education, which is the greatest thing you can give.
