This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to class and work hard. They put smiles on their faces and have great attitudes about science even though some of their worlds are in utter chaos. They teach me to push through tough situations and to be a better person.

My Project

Seeing into the future.

I want to give them an opportunity to do more hands on labs with microscopes since after all that is what science is all about.

With the cameras they do not have to rush to see or complete their work but can take pictures and review their work for hours, days, or weeks in the future.

With the ability to take pictures students can view the different stages of mitosis in an actual plant. The can look at bugs eyes, wings, or legs under a microscope and take pictures to complete projects or show family and friends. I want them to have fun in science again.
