My computer science classes and after school clubs are learning to code a variety of different devices and microprocessors. They would love to have these Micro:bits as they can be used with block coding or Javascript or a variety of other programming languages.
Besides simple projects they can be used to code and build more complex higher level coding projects.
These devices give students to code as little or as much as they want while making some really fun creative projects. The possibilities are endless. An interesting fact about Micro:bits is that one was sent to every student in the UK so they had a device to program. Give my students this opportunity too.
