Microbit and e-textile Hopi Cultural Art!

Help me give my students BBC microbit computer science exposure to generate learning, understanding through coding with computer science! Other projects will include lighted circuit terminology and creation in soft E-textile art projects.

My Project

Incorporating computer science technology is the ultimate goal within my art program. Utilizing BCC microbits and lighted circuit technology to help express students' ideas and design in a Hopi cultural relationship through art is the goal!

HJSHS Students are eager to learn new concepts in computer science and technology in different formats!

Other projects will include lighted circuit terminology and creation in soft E-textile art projects. Being an Art educator, I love seeing our students express themselves in various ways. HJSHS students have strong Hopi cultural roots, which are evident in my students' creations! Our school is located in Northeastern Arizona, with isolation from neighboring cities or towns. This can be seen as restrictive due to poor internet infrastructure, but our students are artistically talented and would benefit from vital computer science opportunities in art!
