My Project
We will be studying the ecosystem of our school in the context of astrobiology. Having an accessible microscope will allow my students to examine parts of the school where microorganisms might live. This mixed-grade class is part of the graduation requirements for high school in our district. Using lab equipment is part of the UC/CSU a-g qualification for students who want to attend a four year college.
By engaging in hands-on learning, students will learn about living things around them and identify what factors are needed for life on other planets.
