This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are unique, curious, and hungry to make connections to the things they have learned or currently learning. I teach at a Title I school where opportunities to use or experiment with any type of technology only happens at our school.

I would like to provide our students with an opportunity to learn how to program Mircobits & use a chromebook to display number patterns, visual patterns, and short phrases.

My students should have the opportunity to have the necessary equipment to learn by doing, but also the opportunity to learn how to use new tools for learning.

My Project

This project will provide students with an opportunity to program a Micro:bit to display simple phrases and number patterns.

Students that take risks, test, and retest their ideas learn more because they are locked in active learning.

The hardware of Micro:bits will be the vessel that engages students into this inquiry based exploration.

Please support my students and after school programs in this adventure. My students will have the opportunity to program these devices and through the process of trial and error they will learn much more than the stated objective.
