Mice to Meet You! Let's 3D Print!

My Project

All of my students want to learn how to design and print using our brand-new 3D Printers! Our Learning Hub has just gone through a complete remodel, and we were given 2 brand new 3D printers. A lot of my students love technology and want to be involved in learning new things that are being implemented within our new Learning Hub.

With this project, each student that comes to the Learning Hub will have a mouse to use while we are designing items to 3D print.

The program we use to design works so much better when the students are able to use a mouse. All three buttons (left, scroll, right) are used when creating projects.

The students are excited to get started working in this program! I am currently collaborating with teachers to create fun, engaging projects for the students to design using units of study they are already working on in their classrooms. The Learning Hub is a wonderful place for all students to gather, create and be in another world! This project will enhance the learning of all students in the building for years to come.
