Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students at our school mostly come from low income families. These kids come to school not only to learn but to get the extra love they need to strive. What I love most about my students is that they are looking for a special bond and they even like to hangout with their teachers during their own lunch period.
When it comes to resources and technology, my students lack the luxury of having computers and ipads and are sometimes unable to complete homework because of it.
These kids love to read and are quick to research people, places, and ideas when given the proper resources.
My Project
My students are English language learners and have to highlight text on their laptop. Having mice will make their learning much easier. They will use the mice to navigate through google classroom and complete their daily assignments.
The touch pad on the laptops is making the learning process more difficult than it should be.
I would like to make the remote learning process easier for my students. The children do not deserve to suffer just because they have to be learning from home. Let's help the kids together! Thank you
