Mice for Design and Modeling

Help me give my students the ease and comfort of using a mouse while 3D modeling, and resin to print their designs in high resolution!

My Project

Though I teach three different courses at our STEAM School, one thing I teach in every class is 3D modeling and design with Tinkered! Students learn to manipulate basic shapes into complex designs. One final requirement: design something to 3D print for yourself.

Our students love designing object with Tinkercad on their Chromebooks, but computer mice will greatly increase the ease and efficiency of finely manipulating objects to develop their desired structure.

The simple feature of having a right click, allowing the change the view of your object, alone revolutionizes the process of design.

In the age of Chromebooks, it's amazing how many students have never used a computer mouse before!

Additionally, the 3D printer resin will allow us to print with our SLA resin printer - which provides much higher resolution in print, and the ability to create more complex structures than our FDM printers.
