Mice Are NICE!

Help me give my students wireless mice to quickly navigate through daily lessons on Chromebooks!

My Students

In a thriving school of over 700 students, I teach 25 energetic 2nd graders who range from high achieving to limited English (ELL) students. We are also privileged to serve military families and children of Barksdale Air Force Base Airmen. Each student helps diversify our population, bringing in knowledge and experience of various cultures and traditions.

No matter the academic or ability level, all of my students have different learning styles that I strive to meet every day.

In return, our students work hard to learn and grow in their academics each day, completing STEM activities, RTI rotations, and computer-based math lessons, leading our school to be a "B" school!

My Project

When using Chromebooks daily in the classroom to complete math lessons the students are relying heavily on the little mouse pad to navigate.

A wireless mouse for each Chromebook would make navigation much easier for the students to work through lessons and be able to quickly scroll up and down to submit answers on assignments.

Technology is quickly advancing and we are trying our best to keep up for the success of the students! Adding wireless mouse to our classroom technology would be another step in the right direction, and also fix the growing problem of mouse pads that have quit working on our Chromebooks.
