Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a middle school teacher, I’m always looking for creative ways to engage, motivate, and support my students' growth—both academically and personally. This project will help provide essential resources for my upcoming journalism class, as well as enrich learning across ELA and history.

With your support, I hope to secure podcast materials (like microphones and accessories) that will allow my journalism students to record and share their voices, building confidence, collaboration skills, and real-world communication experience.

I’m also requesting composition books for use as interactive notebooks in ELA and history tools that help students organize their learning and reflect on their progress in meaningful ways.

To boost motivation and create a positive classroom culture, I’m also asking for a prize drop stand to celebrate achievements in a fun, game-show-style way. Finally, plush toys and classroom games will be used as incentives and downtime rewards, offering students moments of joy and belonging in a safe and encouraging environment.
