We kicked off with a student-led segment called \"Viking Voices,\" where small groups planned, wrote, and recorded short episodes about school news, favorite books, and even social topics they care about. Students who were normally shy found their voice behind the mic—one even asked to stay after class just to record again! The composition books have become treasured journals for both reflection and creative writing. Students are using them daily to brainstorm podcast scripts, respond to prompts, and explore personal growth. What's next? We're working on a special podcast series where each student will create a personal \"audio snapshot\" of who they are at this stage in life, combining storytelling, music, and self-reflection.
