Help me give my students the remaining Rode podcast microphones and Rode stands they need to bring their voices to life and run a professional-grade podcast station right from our classroom.

My Project
Imagine a room full of middle school students—buzzing with excitement—as they brainstorm ideas, write scripts, and record their very own podcasts. That’s exactly what’s happening in our classroom!
Our students have officially launched their podcasting journey—made possible by a generously loaned Rodecaster Pro from Ed Farm—igniting a wave of creativity, confidence, and storytelling in our classroom.
With that incredible support, they were able to record and produce their very first podcast episodes—and even submitted their work to Apple Podcasts for the world to hear!
These students, many of whom come from low-income households, have taken full ownership of this opportunity. They’ve transformed a corner of our classroom into a dedicated podcast station and are eager to upload new episodes daily. But there’s one thing holding them back—we don’t have enough Rode podcast microphones and stands for every student group to participate fully.
We’re asking for your help to fund the remaining Rode microphones and stands to ensure every student has the chance to be heard clearly, edit precisely, and experience the full production process as real content creators.
As their teacher—and an Ed Farm Ambassador and Teacher Fellow with an extensive background in podcasting and technology—I’m beyond proud of their creativity, dedication, and drive. Podcasting has introduced them to a world of digital storytelling and potential career paths they never imagined. They're learning to collaborate, think critically, and express themselves in powerful ways.
This project will give our students the tools they need to keep podcasting, sharing their stories, and believing in their voices.
