Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an experienced elementary teacher and now a first-time dual language teacher, I’m beyond excited to create a classroom that celebrates language, culture, and connection. My students inspire me every day with their creativity, kindness, and eagerness to learn. I want to build a warm, vibrant space where Spanish and English are equally valued, and every child feels proud of who they are.
The many materials give color to our classroom!
The Spanish books will provide students with access to rich stories that reflect their identities and expand their vocabulary meaningfully. Rainbow-themed decorations will help create a joyful, inclusive classroom environment that celebrates all cultures and languages. The pencil sharpener will keep our pencils sharp and ready all year! A big book display will turn our library into a space that sparks a love of reading. The TPT gift card will allow me to supplement materials and lessons when needed! Every item in this project will help me build a classroom where students feel empowered to grow, dream, and shine in two languages.
