My students need an Essential Elements 2000 music curriculum collection, including method books/DVDs for 7 instruments and teacher resources.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Snyder's classroom raised $677
This project is fully funded
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read about my request for new band method books. I teach instrumental music in an urban school district. I have the unique opportunity of giving students from third through eighth grade the chance to learn a musical instrument.
The instruments the students learn on are allotted to students at no cost. But music supplies are purchased through each individual school's budget. Because of cutbacks in arts funding, my school is not able to replace the outdated, tattered, and sometimes missing method books and music that the students need to reap the many rewards of learning to play a musical instrument.
I am asking for funding for new instrumental music method books, so that my students can have the necessary materials to make the most of their musical experience. With these new books, students will no longer have to read faded and torn copies of music, or, even at times, sharing books between themselves.
Your support will make it possible for students, who might not have the financial means available to buy the necessary materials, to get the best out of their musical education. Thank you very much for considering my request for funding.
