Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Do you have OCD? Do you like seeing books sitting on top of books that are standing up? I am in a school where kids love to search for books but never really clean up after themselves all the time or fix the books after they have fallen.
Keeping a clean and organized library can make it easier for kids to find the books that they want to read without worrying about where they are in the Dewey system.
Kids are just learning how to read, and without an organized way of understanding where their favorite books are, it can be difficult for them to find a book they want to read.
Our nonfiction area needs an overhaul. The dividers will help guide the kids to where they need to find the animal books they have been searching for. For the paperback versions, we need magazine holders so they can find them more easily.
We need the basics this year to get the books in the right hands. Please share this with a friend or two. We appreciate the help we get.
