When we learn about someone else, we learn about their food, culture, art, music, etc. My students have been wanting to read about children with sensory issues, parents who are divorced, children with disabilities who were not allowed to go to school, children who cannot keep their voices down, children who do not speak English, ADHD, and their feelings with Pigeon. I have taken videos to help teachers see what I see when they are not looking, both positive and negative issues have helped them. I had a student who used the glasses to listen to a teacher explain a book and it was translating in spanish for him. He was so hyper focused that he couldn't be bothered. I will provide some photos of the translation that he was hearing. \r\nI have also used the glasses to help me understand some students looking for books based on the Human Body, explaining that it is something I needed to hear and can understand. I was so happy to be able to have clarification on words I didn't understand in Spanish. This has been a blessing and I wish this was easily accessible for students when they need the translation more than ever to really understand what we are explaining.
