My special needs students have busy hands and busy feet! They love to move around, but this can cause confusion at dismissal when we are boarding our yellow school busses.
These mess-free art projects will keep my students entertained, engaged, and safely in their seats while they await the school bus.
With limited expressive or receptive language, it can be difficult to communicate to the students how important it is that they remained seated at dismissal. There are many busses arriving at once, students are near exit doors, and students who are not seated create confusion and elopement risk. By giving them art projects and sticker pages to keep them engaged at their bussing tables, we can keep them learning and having fun, and most importantly, safe!
