This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a great classroom called the Preschool Collaborative Classroom. We have 10 children with special needs mixed with 24 general education children. This allows all the children to grow and share in one classroom together at their own pace. It has it's challenges, but the PCC allows for growth for all the children in different areas of need. With the help of my co-teacher and my assistants we have a great time educating and teaching these children all about the Creative Curriculum in LAUSD.

My Project

Hi Parents, I wanted to take the time to talk about a need in our classroom in Room 1. We are asking for a Sony CD and Bluetooth Boombox.

Our 1st need is for a boombox in the classroom where we begin the day with some floor time and focus on the theme of the week.

We also will perform songs that we sing and dance and provide movement using scarves and rhythm sticks. We will also use during special activities; marches and culmination's!

Our 2nd need is for outside the classroom. Will give us versatility and allow for a second classroom outside. Parachute play and relays.

Our 3rd need is for a listening center. Like a cozy corner it will allow our children to go to a corner of the room and put in a book with a CD and have somebody tell them a story. Increasing opportunities for language and reading alike.
